The Bay Area Equestrian Network (BAEN) is an on-line
community where California equine businesses, organizations and
consumers meet and exchange information. BAEN was created in 1997 to
help promote the equine industry in Northern California, and to help
horse enthusiasts find equine products and services in their area.
We are unique among on-line directories in that our directory
listings are organized by region and are free of charge. BAEN also
serves California's equine community with free Classified Ads, event
calendars, bulletin and message boards, news, articles, web site
services and Internet marketing. Our network has grown to include
all of California and numerous sister sites.
Thousands of visitors from California, across North
America and around the world visit BAEN every day. Our web site is
indexed in every major Internet search engine and numerous
equine/regional directories, and consistently ranks among the top
most popular sites of its kind.
BAEN is locally owned and operated from our Pleasanton
offices in San Francisco's East Bay. Our organization is supported
through the sale of
memberships,
web site services, and
advertising. BAEN is sponsored by
Extend Inc., providers of business
messaging software consulting and development services since 1993.
For more information on any of our services, please
call 1-800-943-8883 (925-484-0395) or email us at
info@bayequest.com. If you want to
promote the equine industry in California and on the Internet, then
we want to partner with you.

BAEN's logo
features our mascot "Happy" romping above the Golden Gate Bridge.Who
is the horse on the BAEN logo? When we first started BAEN in
1997 we were looking for a mascot that epitomized the energy,
freedom and joy of horses. We felt so strongly that the stallion
Seventh Son V shared these positive attributes that we asked
owners
Varian Arabians
of California for permission to use his image in BAEN's logo.
Seventh Son V is now owned by
Victoria Arabians of Florida. He is the picture of shining
health and happiness and we are pleased to have him as our
mascot. Even though we're not a breed-specific site, we
love our "Happy Horse". |
