Is there anything more gorgeous than the sun gleaming on a shining, dappled and healthy horse? Most horse owners have an arsenal of weapons to achieve that glowing perfection. And while nothing can replace good nutrition, there are some products that can enhance and protect that shiny coat.

Vetrolin Shine is one product that every horse owner should have. A mist of Vetrolin Shine not only adds long-lasting shine, but this product also contains PABA sunscreen to protect your horse’s skin and hair. I love to spray it on liberally after my horse’s bath before they are completely dry. Then I run a soft brush over the entire coat. This product repels dust and even has a germicide to protect against bacteria.

It is a fantastic detangler, as well, and can be used everyday. There are no silicones to damage your horse’s hair.  I recommend spraying your horse’s mane and tail prior to the grooming process, so that the vitamin rich conditioners really have time to be absorbed. One last note: to avoid static during the fall months, I spray my brushes with Vetrolin Shine, too. It eliminates static and makes for a pleasant grooming experience.

Vetrolin Shine is incredibly reasonable and a little bit goes a long way. It is one product that I can honestly give a “glowing” recommendation!
