Jimbo was a happy horse. He loved his
applesauce every night at dinner time. He loved to run
around in the arena bucking & farting with his friends
Pearl & Lil Red. Jimbo was everything I wanted in
a horse, and then some. He loved people, & loved to be
loved on. Jimbo would have been 25yrs on May 6th. He
will be missed....We Love You Jimbo. The Curry Family |

Durk D.
April 19, 2001- Jan 30, 2007
Durk was the embodiment of a lifelong dream! I truly
never looked at any other horse after he came into my
life. He was 'it' for me. We went through the highest
highs to the lowest lows together as friends. Though his
life wasn't long, the time we spent was time that I'll
never forget and time that taught me so much. He
instilled a love of the Friesian breed and an
appreciation for cherishing each day with our beloved
animals as you really never know how long that time will
be. Betsy Sherman |

R.I.P. My Hero (aka Porky)
1983-January 21, 2008
I stood by your side that night just like you had stood
by me for 7 years. You were my best friend. You were
always there for me. You never gave up. I will never
forget you. There will always be a special place in my
heart just for you.

"George"
aka, "Georgie" a 33yr Arab Bay Gelding made an impact on
every he met. He gave so much love to those around him
and forgave those who hurt him. He will always
remembered with a huge amount of love. He finally came
to his peaceful end on November 26th 2008 with the help
of UC Davis with his best friends at his side, Meaghan,
John, Christine & Shannon. Thank you George for
what you gave us..... I miss you every moment of every
day. Save me a place in Heaven :-) |

Triampourlas
aka "Hot Rod" passed on Dec 25, 2008. I cannot express
how much I enjoyed sharing 7 of your 16 years. After
almost losing you last spring, I cherished each step we
had since then. Thank you for one more dressage show and
one more gallop down Limantour Beach. Thank you for
being stupid and showing me how to just have fun and for
teaching me the true meaning of being "brave". I will
miss sharing you with Ian and our great trail rides at
Woodward. I know you are galloping across that great big
beach in the sky. I miss you. I love you. |

In Memory to a wonderful friend and mother of a
cherished baby... "Fancy" a gorgeous Paint Mare was laid
to rest on December 26th, 2008 after a harsh battle with
Pigeon fever which led to liver failure. It is with
great sadness that her loving owner, Laura, out of love
and respect for her loving friend and companion had her
put down so that she could run among the stars and once
again regain her regal stance. She will be missed and
her loss is felt by many. Here is a picture of her
beautiful colt she gave us. |

TOTAL TEMPO 1989 ~ 2007 Our beloved off-track
Thoroughbred, Tempo, led an extraordinary life: 61
starts in 7 years on the track winning $300K, then
re-trained as a Grand Prix jumper in southern
California, and finally, Tempo came to us in Napa
Valley, where he won countless blue ribbons in the
Equitation, Medals and H/J arena. All heart-and-try,
Tempo lived life to the fullest, right until the end,
when he was taken from us too soon, at the age of 18.
Rest in peace, beloved friend. |

Breezy
was a very special horse who was a member of our family
for over 28 yrs. He is shown giving a little
neighborhood girl her first ride. He was an exceptional
teacher of many students, always showing great kindness
and patience . Breezy passed this past year and we were
fortunate to be able to bury him beside his best friend
Mousie, in the pasture where they spent happy days under
the big trees. Beside Breezy in the photo is Joey, a
homeless dog who now lives with us. Covet your animal
friends, they are the best friends you will ever have.
